I have been using media since I can remember. I started with gaming videos and writing classes and then grew to a Digital Communication Degree. I learned how to create, optimize, and analyze different media channels. Some of my favorite courses were graphic design work. I loved how you can use text and images to guide someone across an asset. For me, that’s why I love this field. It’s a mix of data points and art theory.

2 Truths and 1 Lie About
I hated hot food growing up
True
As a kid, I didn't like anything hot. It got to the point where I didn't eat ketchup because it was red. It wasn't until Shrek came out with their green/blue ketchup that I fell in love with the taste. After my parents convinced me they were the same thing. I started eating ketchup all the time. After that moment, I started going out of my comfort zone when I could or at least being open to more food, and I currently love hot sauce, hot wings, and the burn of some ghost pepper chili!
I was born on the East Coast.
True
While I've lived in Oregon most of my life, I was born in Roanoke, Virginia. After I was born, my family moved to California so my dad's side could see us as kids. A couple of years later, my dad got a job offer in Oregon, and my parents took the leap, and my siblings and I moved.
I won my spelling b in 5th grade for my class and then my school.
False
I do love reading and writing, but I am a terrible speller. So when a spelling b happened for my class, I purposefully spelled the first word wrong to be out as fast as possible. It didn't help me, though, as before we were allowed to write our papers on the computer, I had to get up and find that one old book called a dictionary if I was lucky I could get the fancy electronic dictionary.
Fun Fact: Favorite Movie Series
My all-time favorite movie series is Star Wars. I love the storyline, and watching the lightsaber fighting growing up was a big plus. My favorite character is Obi-Wan Kenobi.
The best way to watch the movies is A New Hope, Rogue One, The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, The Empire Strikes Back, Revenge of the Sith, Return of the Jedi, The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi, The Rise of Skywalker. Trust me after watching this series 1000 times, this is the way!
