It was my third year entering pictures in the Benton County Fair. I really enjoy competing and putting my best work out there. Last year, I did especially well, winning best Color, best Black and White, and Best of Show. This year, I did not do as well, but that is OK!
About 25,000 people attended the fair this year, and the weather was perfect. My daughter participates in 4-h and won several of the highest honors in small animal showmanship, so it was nice to be there for her as well.
My Pictures and Awards
The Benton County Fair is set up different from the State Fair and has seventeen categories that you can enter pictures in. I entered into almost all of them. I was fortunate this year to win:
- Four first place awards
- Six second place awards
- Two third place award
- Two honorable mentions
My thanks to the fair staff for organizing this event!!
